Introduction to the object-oriented paradigm and programming using Java. Use, extension, and implementation of classes. Fundamental control structures. Encapsulation, basic data structures, and utility classes. Weekly programming laboratories.

Successful completion of CPS111 is a pre-requisite for CPS112.
